Radio Riots Take on the Youth Market

Radio Riots Headlined the Belvedere School Talent Show this week, bringing their music to a whole other generation of under 16s; having already converted the over 60's who tutted as they set up in the back room of the Brick, imagining their game of Doms was going to be disturbed by that row of modern music; having converted the 18-30 age group who imagined the 4 school boys would just about manage a dodgy Oasis cover, having convinced parents to roady for them...

So.... its just the 17 year olds, the 30-60's and the over 80's to go.

Its gone dark at the Britannia now and the Radio Riots do their new one. Sound is a bit harsh but the venue looks great (and the Band)

Ever Fallen in Love by the Buzzcocks by Radio Riots at the Britannia, Castle Foregate, Shrewsbury

First Gig Outside. Beautiful sunset over the Rock and Fountain, and beyond to the railway bridge. The Britannia was to become a firm favourite with the fans.

When Radio Riots turn 16 maybe.

Ollie's Acoustic Oasis, Band Join In, Dont Look Back In Anger

After a short break Ollie Bond, Lead guitar does an Acoustic set of Billy Bragg, Kings of Leon, Jamie T and often any request shouted from the bar area. He is then joined halfway through Dont Look Back in Anger by Oasis, by the rest of the band. Though its not necessarily the song you would be hoping gets a play as you get ready for the night out, it never fails to get some vocal involvement from the crowd, and neatly brings the Band together for the second half.

Brooklands Radio Riots; An Undecided Twist of Love and Fate

One of the first Public performances of this Radio Riots Song. I think you will agree that there was no more practice necessary from the boys, just that the audience couldn't get hold of when the end of the song actually happened. Never again to cheer just because theres a small break in the music. It gets to the point now where fans wait for the band to start chatting and grab a drink, perhaps a toilet break, before cheering.

Radio Riots Going Out Tonight

Shot on location at the Devils Chair, Snail Beach and the Seven Stars in sunny Shropshire, plus the Riots on tour, first international gig in Fairbourne, Wales, Summer 2009.

If anyone knows how to remove the several opening titles the director/cameraman/editor tried out, please leave directions in the comment box.
