Radio Riots Fuse Telford;Where are You, and I'm so Sorry...

The lights went out all over Telford as Radio Riots played the Randlay Farm Pub. But this did not stop the show. Ollie, Ewan and Harry moved to sit at front of stage, acoustic guitar at the ready with Joel on drums to play and sing some tunes never heard before on a Radio Riots stage;A heartfelt version of Blink 182 "I miss You" plus an acoustic version of "Mr Brightside" and a beautiful rendition of "I fought the law"- not a dry eye in the house. Almost sad see see the lights flicker back on. So enjoyable was the blackout sing song the boys were asked to play on for another half hour, and offered cash for the privilege! Video footage is a little dark, but may appear on youtube channel soon.

Chow Mein Abandoned for Radio Riots Shocker

The flag of St George was out in force last Friday 23 April for the Radio Riots St Georges day gig at the Britannia, Castle Foregate. But that did not mean there would not be a warm welcome for every nationality who turned up; It was reported that one of our German cousins had been having a Chinese meal in a nearby restaurant and had been listening to the band playing down the road while pretending to be interested in the conversation of her eating partner.Having sat through Going Out Tonight wondering who did the original she had been forced to leave the Chow Mein and make a dash for the Britannia to join in. Sightings of Welsh and Scots brothers and sisters were also reported as well as someone with a dash of Portuguese. All are welcome.

An Audience With Radio Riots

A select group of fans were chosen to watch the band perform at this intimate venue venue on Abbey Foregate. The band played their full set list as if playing at the NIA, letting off steam at the end of a strange old week. More footage of the gig is available on the Radio riots channel on Your Tube. Sound not so good but you might catch the atmosphere.
